      Mrs. Henry J. Lamers (Leona Schwab) 1025 N. Owaissa Street
      Age 80, died at 6:15 p.m. Thursday, October 24, 1985, following a brief illness. She was born October 11, 1905, in Appleton, where she was a life time resident. Mrs. Lamers was amember of St. Therese Catholic Church, past member of the Catholic Daughters, and Monte Alverno Retreat Guild. Survivors include her husband, Henry, to whom she had been married 59 years; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary and F. James Grist, Appleton; she will be missed by all - especially by her five grandchildren: Charles Grist and his wife, Terry, of Portland, Oregon; Julie Holahan and her husband, Paul, Manilla, Phillipines; Dr. Tom Grist and his wife Jeanne, Milwaukee; Lorelle Dalke, and her husband, Brian, Midland, Michigan; Miss Nancy Grist a student of University of Wisconsin, Madison; a brother, Clifford Schwab, Appleton; a sister, Mrs. Edward (Gen) Smith, Buffalo, New York; and a sister-in-law, Mrs. Norbert (Esther) Schwab, Kimberly. She was preceded in death by her parents Louis and Emma Hein Schwab, and two brothers, Harold and Norbert Schwab.
      The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Monday, October 28, 1985, at St. Therese Catholic Church, with her nephew, Rev. Robert H. Vandenberg officiating. Entombment will be in the Star of Hope Mausoleum, Highland Memorial Park. Friends may call at the Wichmann Funeral Home, 537 North Superior Street, from 4 to 8 p. m. Sunday, October 27, 1985 and from 8 a. m. Monday until the cortege leaves for the church. A memorial fund is being established. [8]
